1. Purpose
This policy explains how PilotBooker may use cookies, local storage, session storage and similar technologies on its website. It should be read with the Privacy Policy. A cookie is a small data file stored by a browser or device.
2. Known first-party technologies
3. Essential technologies
PilotBooker may use technologies that are strictly necessary to provide requested services, maintain login sessions, protect forms, prevent abuse, remember security or currency preferences, balance traffic and operate WordPress, Directorist, PilotBooker Messaging and caching functions. Blocking essential technologies may prevent login, messaging, saved listings, forms, dashboards or other core features from working.
4. Optional technologies
Analytics, personalisation, advertising or other non-essential technologies must be identified and handled through an appropriate consent mechanism where applicable law requires one. Publishing this policy does not mean an optional-cookie consent system is installed or active. PilotBooker will not describe optional controls as available until they are configured and tested.
5. Third parties
Third-party services embedded or linked from PilotBooker may set or read their own technologies under their own terms. PilotBooker does not control technologies used after you leave the Platform. Providers’ external websites, payment pages, map services, videos, social networks and other third-party services should be reviewed separately before use.
6. Choices and browser controls
You can use browser controls to block or remove cookies and browser storage. Browser settings vary and may not remove every type of local or session storage. Disabling necessary technologies may cause features to fail. Where PilotBooker later activates an optional-cookie consent interface, the available choices and withdrawal method will be displayed through that interface.
7. Retention and audits
Session technologies normally expire when a session ends; persistent technologies remain for the period stated by their configuration or until removed. Names and durations can change when browsers, WordPress, plugins, hosting, security controls or third-party services are updated. PilotBooker should repeat its browser audit whenever production services materially change.
8. Contact and changes
Questions about cookies or privacy choices can be submitted through the Privacy and Account Requests page. PilotBooker may update this policy for legal, technical, security or operational reasons, subject to notice and consent requirements that apply.
