Accessibility Statement

PilotBooker’s approach to accessible design, known limitations, feedback and reasonable alternatives.

Version 1.1Effective: 3 August 2026Last reviewed: August 2026
Practical reference, not certification. PilotBooker uses WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a practical reference where appropriate. This statement does not certify full or permanent conformance.

1. Our aim

PilotBooker aims to make its public directory and account features usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people using keyboards, screen readers, magnification, voice input, reduced-motion settings and mobile devices.

2. Measures

Measures may include semantic headings, visible focus states, labelled form controls, keyboard-accessible actions, responsive layouts, text alternatives, contrast review, descriptive errors, a skip-to-content link, complete mobile navigation and testing of important journeys. Accessibility is considered during design, development, content updates and regression testing.

3. Known limitations

Some third-party plugin interfaces, uploaded documents, provider-supplied images or text, maps, videos, legacy content or external websites may not meet the same standard. PilotBooker does not control third-party platforms and cannot guarantee that every device, browser, assistive technology, translation or user-generated item will work without limitation.

4. Alternative access

If a feature or document creates a barrier, contact PilotBooker with the page address, the task you were trying to complete, the device or assistive technology used and the problem encountered. Where reasonably practicable, PilotBooker will consider an alternative method or content format. An alternative may not be immediate or identical where security, privacy, legal, technical or disproportionate-burden concerns apply.

5. Provider content

Providers are responsible for the accuracy, legality and accessibility of content and documents they upload. PilotBooker may reject, remove or request changes to content that creates serious accessibility, safety, legal or security concerns, but does not undertake to review every item before publication.

6. Feedback and response

Accessibility feedback can be submitted through the contact page. PilotBooker may request additional information needed to reproduce the issue. Reports are prioritised according to impact, affected journey, security, available resources and legal requirements.

7. No waiver or guarantee

Nothing in this statement limits rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be limited. Statements of intention are not guarantees that every page, feature, provider submission or third-party service is error-free or fully conformant at all times.

8. Review

This statement may be updated as PilotBooker changes its technology, content, testing methods or legal obligations. The current published version applies from its stated effective date.
